There are many reasons which may have caused the US economy meltdown. Some of these reasons are listed below, all of these can be argues both ways but we shall attempt to list a few that may stand out among the rest.
The Main Reason for the Economy Meltdown is the BANKS

- Easy credit conditions

The meltdown was caused by the deregulation of the banks and stock markets by the Bush administration. We could say that if there was no Iraq war things would be different.
